About The Event
Open Door Mission is a faith and evidence-based recovery program and facility that has been helping the homeless in Houston, TX, since 1954. We provide spiritual guidance, shelter, rehabilitation services, educational, and career programs, all free of charge to the most severely addicted, destitute, homeless, and disabled men in our community. Our program is designed to transform lives and help individuals achieve lasting recovery.

Recovery: The DoorWay Substance Abuse Recovery Program
Healing: Medical Respite and Recuperative Health Care Center
Learning: The Education and Career Guidance Center
Career Guidance and Employment
