Admissions to The Center for Education and Career Development

Admissions Process

  • Students must complete demographics information, which is required for program enrollment.

  • All students must take the Text of Adult Basic Education (TABE) for assessment and placement. The test will evaluate reading, language and math skills

Eligibility Requirements

  • All Education Clients must be enrolled in Open Door Mission’s DoorWay Treatment Program, or the Convalescent Care Facility.
  • All Career Development Clients must be in the Yellow Badge State of the DoorWay Program, or an Open Door Mission Alumni.

Curriculum

  • Khanacademy.org, Duolingo.com, Pearson’s MyFoundationsLab, and more!
  • Math, Literacy and GED tutors are available between 8-11 AM Monday through Thursday.

Hours of Operation

  • 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Monday – Friday

  • Closed Saturday & Sunday

Career Guidance Enrollment:
